KOKOROKO

Creating a fusion of Afrobeat and jazz and bridging their African roots with London inspiration, Kokoroko, featuring unique musicians, is also among the guests of the festival.

"Abusey Junction", the instrumental composition of Kokoroko -the band of eight unique musicians under the leadership of the trumpet-player Sheila Maurice-Grey- was recognized as the Track of the Year at the Worldwide Awards 2019. Having released their first EP in 2019, Kokoroko introduced their thrilling single "Something's Going On" to the listeners in February.
