On Friday evening, May 11, 2018, the festival brought together master names of jazz in Türkiye on the same stage. Elif Çağlar, one of the country’s finest jazz vocalists, performed with her quartet; while later that night, Ediz Hafızoğlu—considered one of the most accomplished drummers on the local music scene—took the stage with his project “Nazdrave & Friends,” joined by two of Turkey’s leading jazz vocalists, Jülide Özçelik and Ülkü Aybala Sunat.
