World Premiere of “Portraits” by Fazıl Say 

The festival concludes with two concerts by world-renowned pianist and composer Fazıl Say, taking place on 17 and 18 June. 

These concerts will feature the world premiere of Say’s new project Portraits, a series of compositions dedicated to masters who left a profound mark in their fields, including Fikret Otyam, Ahmet Say, Yaşar Kemal, Yıldız Kenter, Türkan Saylan, Nejat Eczacıbaşı, Şarık Tara and Tarık Akan. Fazıl Say will be accompanied by acclaimed musician Bülent Evcil on flute. The narrated presentations of the works at these closing concerts will be delivered by Yekta Kopan.
